With broadcast color options, featuring TLCI + CRI 90 or 95 minimums at 5700K CCT, luminaire designers can now deliver the most natural daylight-like experience to indoor and nighttime events, whether viewed by spectators in the stands or the TV audience watching at home.
The Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) was developed based on the realization that the response curve of the red, green and blue video sensors in an electronic camera are so different from the red, green and blue cones of the human eye that optimal illumination profiles for one may not be optimal for the other.
