We continue to invest in research and development to enable new products and facilitate market growth while protecting many of our innovations via patents. As of January 2024, Cree LED holds more than 1800 patents and pending applications in the US and Worldwide.
We may choose to partner with other parties and promote the use of our proprietary technology through intellectual property licensing. A license to Cree LED’s patents can enable other companies to improve existing products, enter new markets or speed time-to-market of new products.
